She graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 2001. In the same year, Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry Department of Periodontology. She also started her doctoral studies. In November 2005, Prof. Dr. Bahar Eren Kuru gave her doctoral thesis on "Investigation of Neutrophil Functions Before and After Periodontal Treatment in Individuals with Generalized Aggressive Periodontitis". He got his title. In 2006, he started as a lecturer at Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Periodontology. In 2007, Assist. Assoc. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2015 and Professor in March 2021. Still the same A.D. He also continues to work as a lecturer. He was selected by Eczacıbaşı in 2021 and completed the Biogaia ACADEMY Experts program in Sweden and received his "probiotic specialist" diploma. Having numerous national and international publications, Prof. Dr. Hare GÜRSOY is the coordinator of the Periodontology Program accredited by the European Federation of Periodontology, the assistant editor of the Yeditepe Clinical Journal, the Scientific Committee of Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry and a scientific committee member at the CED-IADR congress since 2017. She is a member of the Turkish Periodontology Society, a member of the European Periodontology Federation and a board member of the Dental Laser Academy Association. Dr. Hare Gürsoy serves as a referee for journals within the scope of SCI and is a member of the editorial board of Turkiye Klinikleri and Cumhuriyet Dental Journal.

Tolga Akova graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Dentistry where he received his D.D.S.. He attended postgraduate educational prosthodontic program offered by the Institute of Health Sciences at Çukurova University and graduated with Ph.D. degree in prosthodontics. In 2002-2005 he worked as instructor then he worked as an Assistant Professor between 2005 and 2009 and as an Associate Professor between 2008 and 2010 in the Department of Prosthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry at Çukurova University in Adana, Turkey. Dr. Akova left his full-time faculty work in February 2010. He maintains his full time clinical practice in his private clinic – Dentrum - focused on prosthodontic procedures of oral implantology, smile design , TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint Disorders) and sleep apnea. Also, he is owner of educational firm called The Dentaverse.

After completing a Masters Degree in Biology (MSc) I worked in research in the field of Environmental Studies and Parasitology / Epidemics at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland, for which I earned my doctoral degree (PhD) in 2007. After a year as postdoctoral fellow I took the responsibility as Account Manager and Team leader to support academic research institutes and pharmaceutical companies using technology for behavioral research at Noldus Information Technolgy bv, a leading Dutch company in that area. Before I joined Elsevier as product specialist for Life Sciences and Health education I worked at Tata Consultancy Services as technology platform director supporting Pharma companies in their clinical trials for drug development as Director. In my current role as product sales manager for Complete Anatomy and Osmosis at Elsevier I support academic institutes to bring their education strategy to the next level.

David Sacks received his PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Cincinnati in 2007. His interest in Educational Development led him to a position with the Center for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching (CELT) at the University of Kentucky. After working there for several years and serving as a leader in the Professional and Organizational Network in Higher Education (POD Network) he explored other roles at the University of Kentucky. For the past four years he has been the Senior Curriculum Coordinator at the College of Dentistry (UKCD). In this role he oversees and works with faculty about the four-year DMD program. As a result, he is very much aware of all of the courses in the program and how they intersect. In this role is he well qualified to share with you how digital dentistry is introduced and reinforced throughout the time students are enrolled in the college.
